The security bond on our vehicles is £1000. This must be paid by bank transfer before you leave with the vehicle. Providing the vehicle is returned in a clean condition and with no damage we will return your deposit within 3 days by bank transfer.
If there is damage to the vehicle we will hold onto your deposit until we can assess the cost required to return the vehicle to its original standard.
- If the damage is under your £1000 deposit we will return the difference.
- If the damage is over £1000 then our insurers cover the difference.
Unlike some rental companies we do not make money from damage, we will always do our best to find the most cost efficient way to resolve any issues.
If our insurers find you negligent then you will be responsible for the whole cost of the damage, this includes all damage over head height from hitting trees, bridges etc.
Our standard age range is from 25-70.
If you are outside of this range please contact us and we can refer you to our insurers. We can often still get cover but the security bond may be increased.
All of our vehicles can be driven on a category b, standard car licence – as long as it has been held for 2 years.

It is recommended, although both vans work fine whether hooked up or not.
In the classic camper the fridge will not work unless hooked up. Whilst plugged in you have a single 240v socket, this can be used for the small electric heater.
In the modern motorhome everything will work on gas or the leisure batteries, just remember you will have no 240v power when not plugged in.
In the unlikely event of a breakdown the vehicles are covered by the RAC.
If the RAC can not fix you at the roadside we will liaise with both the RAC and yourselves to find the best option. If the vehicle needs recovering home to be fixed then we will refund you any unused nights.
Unfortunately we do not have spare vans (yet) so at this point your holiday would end, we will always try and keep you moving though between the RAC and local garages.
